Dharavi Re-development Project 

Technical Bid presented Successfully– Co-Presented the Technical Bid to the SRA, Feb 10th, 2009.

 

Project Brief:

Dharavi, in Mumbai is Asia’s largest slum of almost 600 acres of prime Commercial and Residential Property.

Urban Design and Master Planning:

Architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, USA, along with 21 other Consultants

 

Scope involved Mater planning the Mixed-Use Development (5 sectors) and formalization of various strategies for Mid Rise and High Rise buildings and unit Plans, as per regulation of the SRA, (Civic Authorities) for the Global technical and financial Bid.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solely responsible for Design Management with Concept Architects and other Consultants to coordinate and strategize a winning Presentation.

  • Assist Architects in formalizing basic units in Master Planning, Architecture and Typical Unit Plans for both residential and commercial, etc.

  • Interacting and Compilation of the Technical offer with various consultants ranging from Traffic to Environmental Impact Management including Social aspects of Rehabilitation, Landscaping etc.

  • Reviewing and compilation of all Technical Statements, studies etc.
